We are keen to extend Eurochip's partner network in order to raise further awareness on the issue of prisoner's children, to establish its expertise and develop projects. Membership is open to public and private organisations, as well as to individuals who work for the welfare of children or the welfare of prisoners or simply want to support the cause. Eurochips' message is clear: the child and his or her best interests are at the heart of its action.

What can we bring you?

  • Promotion of the work you are doing
  • Access to a European network of expertise and exchange of experiences
  • Sharing in research and development
  • Information on events related to children with imprisoned parents
as well as on new developments at the European level

and to lobby together for change
  • Advice on searching for partners for European projects

What you can contribute

  • A commitment/sharing of Eurochips' mission
  • Helping to "think network"
  • A commitment to consolidate and strengthen Eurochips,
and raise further awareness on a national level on children with imprisoned parents
  • Organise a small-scale awareness-raising event on the issue of prisoners' children

Our 3 different types of membership

We don't believe in expensive membership fees, but rather in pro-active and engaged members and affordable access to information and exchange. That's why you will find our rates more than reasonable.

Full membership
Annual fee 100€

Open to European-based public, governmental, private and Non Profit organisations working with or for prisoners' children.

Organisations ideally will have a national remit and their work will be consistent with the ethos of Eurochips. The Board will consider other smaller organisations doing good work in this field as potential members.

Full members actively participate in network operations and have the possibility of steering network development.

All European organisations wishing to be considered for full membership must first become associate members.

Full members are voted in during the network's annual General Assembly. Full members have full voting rights.

Associate membership
Annual fee 50€

Open to European-based public, governmental, private and Non–Profit organisations as well as individuals from Europe working with or for prisoners' children and/or specialising in prison-related, legal and justice-related or psychological, social and child-welfare fields.

We regret to inform you that at this time we are no longer accepting associate memberships. Please feel free to join our organisation as an affiliate member and we will update you in the future when we re-open the associate membership applications.

Affiliate membership
