EUROCHIPS launches National Awareness-raising Week

EUROCHIPS and its members throughout Europe are launching a National Awareness-raising Week (NAW) for children with imprisoned parents, scheduled to run during the first week of June 2010.

EUROCHIPS is pleased to announce that a series of Training and Information Packs (TIPS) for prison staff, professionals and schools, will be presented in May at a FFP/Eurochips seminar in Oslo entitled “Children of Imprisoned Parents: Exchanging Experience and Good Practice”.

Norway’s Organization for Families and Friends of Prisoners (FFP), a EUROCHIPS member, is organizing a seminar in Oslo entitled Children with Imprisoned Parents: Exchanging Experience and Good Practice, on May 7, 2010, to coincide with EUROCHIPS’ annual General Assembly meeting the following day.
